RNC type wet dust collector is a device which uses washing water or other liquid to contact with dust gas to separate and capture dust.

The properties of RNC type wet dust collector are different from that of dry type dust remover: it is a device that makes the dusty gas and liquid (usually water) in close contact. It uses the inertial collision between water droplets and particles or the full mixing of water and dust to capture particles or increase or stay in a fixed container to achieve the separation effect of water and dust. Dry type is a kind of dust collector which can discharge the dust in flue gas in dry state.

What are the advantages of RNC wet dust collector?
1. When the energy consumption is the same, the efficiency of the dust collector is higher than that of the dry dust collector. The dust removal efficiency of high-energy wet dust collector is still very high when it is below 0.5m.
2. The dust removal efficiency can not only be compared with bag type dust collector and electric dust collector, but also suitable for the dust removal conditions that these dust collectors are not competent for. The wet dust collector has high dust removal efficiency for purifying high specific resistance, high humidity, high temperature, inflammable and explosive dust gas.
3. The water vapor and some poisonous and harmful gas pollutants in the gas can be removed at the same time when the dust particles in the gas are removed. Therefore, the wet dust collector can not only remove dust, but also cool and purify gas. Wet scrubbers are sometimes referred to as wet gas scrubbers.
What are the disadvantages of wet dust collectors?
1. The sediment discharged from the dust collector needs to be treated, and the purified washing water should be reused, otherwise, it will not only cause secondary pollution, but also cause waste of water resources.
2. When purifying corrosive pollutants, the washing water (or liquid) will be corrosive. Therefore, the equipment of dust removal system should have certain anti-corrosion measures.
3. It is not suitable for purifying the gas containing hydrophobic and hydraulic dust.

4. It is easy to freeze in cold area, so it is necessary to take anti freezing measures.
